Wobrick Weekly 010: Seven Orbs Teaser, Chrome Robot Pre-Orders, and Left-Foot Blunder

Welcome to Wobrick Weekly 010, your top destination for breaking brick industry news, community trends, and MOC insights. As adult builders continue to seek premium display pieces, demand for high-end metallic chrome brick sets is reaching unprecedented levels across the global builder community.

Let’s jump right into the three biggest stories making waves across the brick world this week!

1: Mysterious Seven Orbs Teaser Sparks Anime Brick Speculation

The Danish brick giant dropped a cryptic 15-second teaser video this week, driving adult fans absolutely feral across social media. The short clip shows six glowing orbs resting on a wooden table before a mysterious seventh orb rolls in to complete the iconic set, accompanied by the caption “Ready to make a wish?”

With no official set name, piece count, price, or release date announced, speculation is running wild on community forums like Rebrickable. Builders quickly recognized the iconic reference to legendary anime franchises. This surprise teaser proves once again that anime-inspired brick collaborations continue to be one of the most successful trends in modern building systems.

2: Pantasy Opens Pre-Orders for Metallic Chrome Robot Bust and Skeleton

Alternative brick brand Pantasy has officially opened pre-orders for two stunning new models based on the iconic time-travel robot saga. The lineup features a detailed bust and a full standing skeleton model, both finished in head-to-toe electroplated metallic silver rather than standard dull light grey.

Standing at nearly 50cm tall, these metallic chrome brick sets feature fully posable arms, legs, and heads, alongside a dedicated custom skull mold to capture every mechanical detail. For AFOLs looking for premium display pieces, these metallic chrome brick sets demonstrate how alternative manufacturers are pushing element finishes to compete with high-end collectables. AFOLs actively discussing custom MOC builds on Eurobricks have praised the inclusion of premium metallic parts over standard plastic tones.

3: Emotional Tribute Spoiled by Famous Left-Foot Detail Error

The brick giant posted a touching animated farewell tribute earlier this month honoring one of football’s greatest legends of all time. The animation features a figure walking through a stadium tunnel, rolling a ball forward, and taking a iconic shot on goal.

However, eagle-eyed football fans and builders noticed a major inaccuracy within seconds: the figure kicked the ball with his right foot. The world-famous legend is universally celebrated for his legendary left foot. The internet reacted instantly to the oversight, proving that even the subtle details matter immensely when crafting commemorative display builds.
